Are you ever scared that your child could suffocate themselves so that is why you probably don’t sleep as well at night? I mean my kid is just starting to turn (and he is now allowed too via the docs, since his surgery), but since he is so fidgety I am scared to go sleep on a comfortable bed, scared that I will be too comfortable to hear him if he needed me.
I mean I have slept on a couch for two years now since I had one child after the other, and just before my second was born I was slowly started transitioning back to a bed [in my oldest sons room] but now that I have a newborn again, I feel I need to be back on the couch so I can be hear him to hear him. Be half awake kind of deal, not fully in REM. I mean we bought him a crib, but with my son having issues I guess you can say I am baby-ing him a little more than my last.
Definition: Sudden unexpected infant deaths include sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), accidental suffocation in a sleeping environment, and other deaths from unknown causes. Although the SUID rate has declined since 1990s, significant racial and ethnic differences continue.
