If you have ever tried to persuade a willful toddler to wear sunglasses or a hat on a sunny day, you know how tricky it can be to get kids to do something they do not want to.
Convincing a young child to wear a face mask may feel like a similar struggle; especially when the CDC guidelines require 2 years and up. I mean two years old really, couldn't they have done three years and up; we have enough to deal with with them just being in their terrible twos.
Yesterday was the first day my son was willing to put on the face shield - 25 days past his second birthday. Although what is even more hilarious is the fact that he came up to me asking to wear it. Now if it was reversed and I asked him to wear it, he would say No and throw a fit.

So my question is, how long did it take you to get your son / daughter to wear a PPE? And what strategies did you use to persuade them to 'want' to wear a mask, face shield, or face covering? Please comment below.
